| ...and now what? |

2004-04-08 - 2:52 a.m. I don't feel tardy Speaking of time... or singing of it... I chose the title of the last entry because several weeks ago I was at a Hard Rock Café and there was a kimono on the wall. Another girl and I were trying to figure out from several yards away whose it was, but we couldn't quite read the placard. At first we thought it said "Roy" something, and the only Roy we could think of was Roy Orbison, and it didn't look very Roy Orbison. After some more squinting we realized it said Boy George. It looked much more Boy George. Honorable mention for timely lyrics that didn't make the title, in no particular order: Time is on my side Every time I got to thinking, where'd they disappear Time won't let me I believe it's time for me to fly And a time to every purpose under heaven From the first time that I met you to the last time that we talked It's the time of the season Do you have the time to listen to me whine about nothing and everything all at once Let's do the time warp again Don't be so damn benign and don't waste my fucking time Does anybody really know what time it is? I'm a waste of time, don't touch me Sittin' on the dock of the bay, wastin' time Time's not sleeping and time won't lose Time in New England took me away Just a day ago I tried to strike a deal with Father Time No time for losers, cuz we are the champions If you're lost, you can look and you will find me, time after time A long, long time ago... When it's time to change, then it's time to change Thank you for your time, you've been so much more than kind Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin', into the future It's time to leave and get another quart All our times have come here but now they're gone Cos it's time, it's time in time with your time and its news is captured for the queen to use (what?) Time has come again, and love is in the wind I've looked around enough to know that you're the one I want to go through time with Time doesn't wait for me, it keeps on flowing Feels like the very first time Closing time, you don't have to go home but you can't stay here How many did you recognize? I'm sure there are more... but it's time for bed. I think I have too much time on my hands. Who clapped? Come on. I know some of you clapped. |
